and blindspots gets lost in the sea of the constant barrage of nonsense. like there is a great point that stannis' misogyny makes him unable to emphasize with someone so similar to him, but then it's lost in the unfocused muddled point about his intelligence (?) and the blackfyres? it feels like the bias against stannis as a character comes first before reading the text. and also i don't see value in that kind of reading of a fictional character, where all complexity goes to die.

I know none of this matters but i feel like the podcast jumped the shark massively around stannis, where it's basically constantly stretching to roast him for EVERYTHING to the point where it feels like you're actively trying to run a smear campaign against a fictional character. And that's kinda silly. Again all joking aside I'm not mad because you dislike a character, everyone dislikes Stannis but the problem arises when you reach so much that actual valid criticism of his hypocrisies
