We're off this week due to a little bit of real-life-happening; Another One Of Your Hosts is off to step through windows to another world, and we have to take a quick pause - we'll be back with ASOIAF & our final His Dark Materials The Amber Spyglass episode very soon, but in the meantime, enjoy this pre-recorded (December 2019! The Before Times!) episode on Lantern Slides in His Dark Materials. What exactly are Lantern Slides?
At the end of each of the books, particularly in the Omnibus version/later versions, Pullman has included vignettes and snippets of his worlds. In this episode, the girls stop to discuss these, and Chloe dives deeper in some of the implications with the Dustiest-scussion.
